My dogs eyelid is inflamed/red?

I just gave my dog a bath and was scrubbing around her eyes(particularly the right eye, she had some gunk on it) with tearless shampoo. Now I see that her right eyelid is inflamed and somewhat red. Is this serious? Could she have had an allergic reaction to the shampoo???
